There are ceramic filaments that you print and then fire in a kiln to get rid of plastic and keep just the ceramic. Maybe this could work, or the top of the piston ceramic to withstand the temperature better, and bottom carbon fiber to withstand the mechanical stresses better

You should make 3d printed carbon fiber piston rings and exhaust and cylinder head

I mean, you can 3d print a metal piston that will last just fine in there. For proper carbon piston test you'd want to make it like formula one disc brakes. It involves "forged" carbon and curing them with silicon carbide and whatnot in a kiln. They'd feel like glass but super light and mostly indestructible. Probly want to still use metal rings and metal sleaves for wrist pin to go through.

make a wooden piston. you can make wood really strong and less flammable by doing something I saw a youtuber Nile red do when he made bulletproof wood.

How about a JB weld piston? I think it could work pretty well!

if you had a ceramic dome ontop of the piston it may have lasted a long time really good effort

Flo Pro Twister mufflers. They are built with auger flighting and hollow tube down the middle. My brother bought a pair for a 76 grand prix w/400 ci engine. Dual exhaust with a pair of these sound way better than cherry bomb muffler.

Looks like you mightve been able to get it to run much longer if you had a way to print around a think aluminum covering the top of the piston... which would still decrease the total weight of a piston...🤷♂️

that’s what weight and 6F power does I’ve got a summit, which is a monster it’s a beast. I have a graded it to a 6S and a mambo max pro from castle it’s stupidly fast, but because of the weight, the mass of the tires, it rips stuff apart. butits funnnnn

I wish you guys weren’t so far away I could use some parts off of that I took the complete suspension off of one of those and put it under my easy go golf cart. My front springs are weak. The shots of blown out in the transmission has a bad shift fork.

I have not finished watching this video yet, but it’s definitely the end of every rotating piece in this engine. It will literally be a stone grinding pad inside the cylinder walls. I would might have coated this in some kind of epoxy

18:21 I would like to see you make a piston out of JB Weld I know I’ve use JB Weld to fill a hole in my Husqvarna 500 piston and it ran for a couple of days before it let go. I bet you a JB Weld edition piston would work decent
