How can he say that about the Heritage foundation plans when they have clearly shown their hand and the president's cabinet is made up of a lot of it's members. I'm going to make a gentle suggestion: much of what was said here concerning the history of Palestine was either out of context or completely wrong. If you're going to address issues like this better preparation is called for. Visiting Israel doesn't make anyone a expert. And in these fast moving and difficult times a comprehensive analysis is required that is fair to the truth and not just as inoffensive as possible.

God did cut off Israel as a nation, but not individual people. The Israelites were scattered to the four winds (most were murdered by the Romans) because they murdered the Son of God. Ok, just keep in mind that it could also go completely different. The first part of Isaiah 2 suggests a very different end. I love these ideas presented by the Adventists and others but so many people are expecting this type of end. When everyone is looking one way, chances are it will end up coming from another way. Personally, I hope the Isaiah version is what happens. It will be a much better, more peaceful end to "the system."

There’s a lot of historical facts that he gets wrong. *They never mentioned the fact that Netanyahu is a wanted war criminal. *They never acknowledged that it is a genocide of the Palestinian people. 1. World War II technically started because of the invasion of Poland not because of Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor just brought the United States in but World War II was going on for over two years before the United States was involved. 4. I’m not really sure what they’re talking about with the Ottoman Empire because the Ottoman Empire still existed in the First World War and it was only at the end of the First World War that the Ottoman Empire was dissolved. It was not dissolved in 1844 or defeated in the mid 1800s. I don’t know what in the world they’re talking about there. 5. I just don’t really think he understands what Zionism actually is because he was talking about Zionism and Jews like they were interchangeable. That’s an Israeli talking point that’s not actually true. Most Zionists are Christians In fact, probably at least 10 times as many as Zionist Jews. Furthermore, there are Zionist Jews, but there are also anti-Zionist Jews and non-Zionist Jews, so they’re definitely not interchangeable and the vast majority of Zionists are Evangelical Christians. 6. They talked about Zionism as if it was a very benign idea of Israel deserving to be an independent country blah blah blah. That’s another Israeli talking point because the only way you have a Jewish majority country in an Arab majority region (based off of language) or the Palestinian majority country is if you ethnically cleanse or commit genocide against the native population. Therefore, if anyone says they’re Zionist, they are 100% logically for ethnic cleansing or genocide of the Palestinian people. It is that simple. You can’t believe that you can create a Jewish majority country in a place that had 95% Palestinian people (1917) or even I think it was maybe 67% Palestinian people in 1948. You can’t create a country like that without ethnic cleansing. It’s that simple. If ethnic cleansing, which is the removal of the people, doesn’t work then you have to do genocide, which is the murder of the people. It is that simple. There is no complexity to it. Zionism 100% is not benign at all! Zionism is literally ethnic cleansing and if ethnic cleansing doesn’t work it’s genocide. 7. And probably the single worst thing he said was when he described the Palestinians as a neighbor who likes to poison your dog from time to time like the Palestinians are actually the problem. In the decade before October 7, 96% of the deaths in the occupation of Gaza were Palestinian while 4% of the deaths were Israeli. This huge genocide hasn’t really helped those numbers out. That was a very really anti-Palestinian racism point he made when he said that the Palestinians were a neighbor who likes to poison your dog from time to time. He’s utilizing the typical Zionist talking point of the Israelis being the victims not the villains. The reality is anybody that really knows the situation knows that the Israelis are the villains and they’re the aggressor not the victims.

Like a thief in the night also applies to the closing of probation is like a thief in the night: you don't know when it is. Like in Noah's time, the closing of the door of the ark by God was likened to a thief coming in the night for the wicked. They didnt know their doom had been fixed at that point.
