I'll be brutally honest, I've watched Alicia for a few weeks now thinking it was so mesmerizing how she's a parent to 12 kids thinking she was doing great, but after watching this video here, my thoughts have changed COMPLETELY. I agree with everything you've said in this video 100%. The overall lack of privacy is insane! Her showing every inch of her house, her kid's rooms showing all their dirty laundry, feminine hygiene products left out everywhere, toys scattered, and house totally trashed, it's wild to me. Thank you for speaking out about this. Hopefully more people come from her channel like I did and now realize how dangerous this is.

I wondered how many people watch because it's like the worst train wreck that you can't look away from. Everything about it is literally a train wreck. It's like a terribly filmed reality show. And we know how many people watch those. What's the likelihood that's why she has the view counts and following she has? It can't truly be because people admire her, right?!

Some of the teenagers seem depressed, quite a few have weight problems....She buys total trash for them to eat which really, really makes me worry for their mental health ALOT more. Having annorexia in my early 20s and now being a bad binger and not being able to look in the mirror I know how much a bad body image can effect a Child and then adults and these kids deserve ALOT more care and attention regarding what they're eating...many have come from a traumatic backround and this on top of it is a VERY worrying thing that can go badly wrong especially as she either doesn't know or care.

It breaks my heart to read so many comments like this on these videos and no one Is stepping in from KZbin protecting the kids safety or privacy. Family vlogging shouldn't be allowed anymore. There is NO way for a child to be able to articulate the effect of family vlogging and how it could affect their lives now or in the future. One of the biggest jobs of a parent is to protect and create a safe private place for the child. I'm also sorry you went through that but also grateful you got helped.

Funny, I was a “wine mom” and all of my friends enabled that. I look back now (I’m 52) and I now realize how wrong it was. However I have two daughters who do not drink. I ask them all the time what I could have done different and I apologize for the mom I was then. They tell me that they didn’t know I drank. They also say they wouldn’t want it any other way. That doesn’t make it okay. I live with that every day and the guilt that comes with it is awful.

First of all, I love the one liners Tyson put in! I, for the life of me don’t understand why she starts cooking foods like sausage two hours before the kids are even going to eat it. We all love to wake up and have some cold, dry sausage. Seeing the way the kids just throw their stuff around their rooms and the bathroom just shocked me. She goes and cleans up after her teenage son, who is fully capable of doing it himself. When I was a teenager the last thing I wanted was mom mom cleaning and snooping around my room. Not only was I expected to clean my room, I was in charge of my own laundry in 6th grade. My mom always said that I needed to learn the responsibilities of taking care of myself, that one day she wouldn’t be there to get everything done, and this was my time to practice while she was still there to help me when I needed it. My step mom babied my brother so much that she was still shaving his face, doing his laundry, and clipping his toenails when he was 17. He went to college completely naive, constantly calling my parents to ask things he should’ve already know. I know that Nevaeh was given over 2,000 in presents for her birthday, you can’t throw gifts at them and expect everything to be okay. She needs a parent to invest time and energy into her, not a Play Station 5. When she picked up that Whiteclaw I immediately remembered the how my stomach would drop when she came out of the store with that brown paper sack. I knew that in a few hours the woman who was a good, loving mom would disappear into the bottom of a bottle, and chaos would soon follow. Shame on her for drinking like that around kids who were born having to fight for their lives because of an alcoholic mom. All of this just makes me sick, and I don’t know why people find it so enthralling too watch her do everyday things, barely even acknowledging the camera, helping her make hundred of thousands of dollars. It’s time to put the camera down and focus on your kids, and not share everything with the world. I love the snark! Thank you for the things you say at the end of the video. Some of us need to be reminded that people do need us around.

Never mind cleaning up his toys, shoes, and bringing his laundry to the laundry basket. Like normal stuff and he’s happy to do it. If he sees me looking stressed he asks what he can do to help. Now that he has a baby brother he’s always checking to see if he can play with the baby and help with his tummy time. Imagine having 12 kids that could be that way!!!

Well considering where I live in Ontario, Canada, much of the school work is done online while even sitting in the classroom, covid has excelerated the use of macbooks and phones in the classroom. So teens need the device. Gr 9 is a good time to give a cell phone. 16 is a little late considering in the states it's perfectly acceptable to recruit kids to the US army at 18, even though they can't drink till 21. So can't have a cell phone till 16, can die for their country at 18 but can't drink till 21.

What Josh likes or dislikes, believes or doesn't believe, eats or doesn't eat, what he does for himself or his family in his spare time, should NOT be an issue. The way they decorate their house is also a non-issue. It's just the high amount of money spent on superfluous things, snack buying, expensive brand named clothes & items & general wasting that happens while bringing up lots of kids who are not learning responsibility. I don't know that she realizes the ramifications. It's basically about her.
