Fantastic video, Doug. Really informative, clear and on point. As someone who has been shooting mainly stills and is now dabbling in a bit of wildlife videography, I’ve struggled with a lot of what you've touched on! This looks like it'll be a great series and I'm looking forward to seeing the chapters to come. ETA on the next chapter please?! Kidding...many thanks for sharing 🙏 🙂

Hi Valerie, thanks for the nice words. When you get itchy enough for the other 20 chapters, you can always sign up for the full course. 🙂 vimeo.com/ondemand/wildlifevideo

not true. add sound and a motionless video is not a ''photo'' anymore. also, very rarely the whole video is just 1 shot

Not sure what you are saying. What isn't true? If you add sound to a photo in post that has nothing whatsover to do with the differences between SHOOTING stills and video. Nobody shoots stills with sound. But we shoot video with sound all the time. That is the difference I'm talking about. Adding sound to a photo in post is a whole different topic that has nothing to do with this master class. However, I do agree that video is very rarely made from just one shot. I talk about that very thing at 15:00. Did you watch the video?

@@DougJensenVortexMedia why would you add sound to a photo?
@DougJensenVortexMedia Жыл бұрын
@@petrub27 Like I said, I didn't understand what you were saying in your first post. A stationary video without camera movement is boring. Adding sound doesn't help very much. It is still basically a photo. Video needs motion.
