Curious that it did not have Shaft final drive, at some point there must be a right angle in the power train to drive the primary sprocket? and if so would that lead to a power loss ? just curious because its the only boxer, or indeed any bike with a north south crank that I personally have seen with chain final drive.Am talking about Moto Guzzi, Honda CX500, Goldwing, all BMW,s , IFA MZ 250, / 350. Sunbeam S7. ET AL , there was even a rare Swiss built army bike as well ( cant remember name).
