I used my Quantum with the omega plate 2 weeks ago and had great shaves. Better than I remembered. I really enjoyed it. Douglas Fir is incredible. One of PAA’s best. I dig the Monstroso hat. Even though Doug hasn’t dropped it in a couple years I picked up the Monster mash up aftershave this year. Great video.

@ I never had Monstroso other than the bar of soap. I was on the fence regarding the scent but dig the artwork. My wife is not into North Meets East I’m using this week. She likes the scent but says it is too sweet for her when she is trying to sleep.

Thanks Mike, this is definitely better than A F . I really like AF but it's just straight up Pine and doesn't quite smell as real. This is better than Ozark Mountain too from Stirling, I LOVE that one as well. Have a good one brother!

Stunning outdoor shave Tobin! I absolutely love Ozark Mountain from Stirling and I absolutely love Hinoki and Sage from Paa.... I am very curious about the differences between those two vs Douglas Fir which I do not have. Also very curious what Alexis and Emily think about Douglas Fir. Scuttle shaves during this time of the year are awesome; nice warm lather. 😂 nice job avoiding the other word used to describe a more efficient shave! Location makes a huge difference for cost on those trees. We had to pay $150 for a 7’ Douglas Fir here in Nebraska. Hope you have a great week!

@ yeah, prices were so ridiculous that the place my wife and I have gone to since 1998, only had Douglas this year-Nothing else. Fraser’s are nice! I think we might have to check out the local tree farm next year. Update - my wife has kindly reminded me I’m an idiot; they were Fraser trees, not the Charlie Brown trees 😉

Very good Tobin! Nice location! I do really like Enoki Sage and I would bet this one might be even closer to that high-end reed diffuser oil I used to get. I will be curious to what the splash will be like and how long it will last. I think it's a wearable scent because it's deep and complex. I mean if you can smell like a pineapple with spices and wood, why not fir, sage, etc. I like smelling like bubblegum and cotton candy-lol! Awesome razor and it's one on my list that's starting to look like a novel. Hopefully when it drops again, I'll have the money for it at that time. Sometimes they hit at the right time and sometimes they don't-hahaha! Have a great week brother!

Wow, what a location to have a pleasant shave. I thought that brush you used was gorgeous. You said that the badger knot was also vintage. Is that correct? My vintage brushes all needed to have needed to have the knots replaced. In any event, a nice brush. Athena and Luna were having a lot of fun as well. Have a great week!

And that's why I've kept it in there and I try to take care of it I've had it for a couple of years now I just don't ever take it out for shaves but I really wanted to use it in that shave yesterday to bring him nostalgic feeling to the shave. I just decided to give Lord Chrome, the white wrapper, another try today. On the first pass on my head, I thought it was great. Buuuuuuuut, two or three strokes into the second pass, and I had to change the blade, as it was super tuggy.

Speaking of Decanters. I know you stated you decant Cosmic Christmas Cookies. To extend the fragrance of this you also recommend decanting. Do you have a specific Atomizer you would recommend? I bought one off Amazon and it leaked a bit. Clearly you’ve had luck with decanting. Which one are you using? Or do I just need to be more careful about keeping the atomizers upright at all times?

Hey Angelo, I do. I highly recommend this one, especially for travel. I have cheaper ones for around the house but when it comes to throwing into a backpack or carrying in your pocket this is the one to go with. It's built like a Tank.
