I really appreciate being able to listen to what you have to say because you have the expertise, wisdom, experience as well as knowledge of the facts in the situations and knowing also the developments, you’re able to make your analysis and conclusions. I wish the US will go back to being the country people admire. When President Kennedy was assassinated, I cried. And I’m not an American and I live thousands of miles away on the other side of the world. Since then, the US has turned out to be a nation of military ogres, bombing, destroying, so many countries and killing, wounding millions of people. And it’s still engaged right now in its proxy war in Ukraine and financing, supporting Israel’s genocide of thousands of Palestinians and the slaughter of thousands in the countries around it. And look at its continuing aggressiveness in establishing and maintaining almost 800 military bases around the world. Look at how it organises its minions in NATO, AUKUS, Five Eyes and turning this beautiful world into conflict zones with thousands of soldiers standing ready behind barbed wires. Sometimes I almost wish something will happen that can obliterate all this Western-inspired ugliness - perhaps ordinary people in the US and all those oriented towards it can wake up and get those that control their governments to just focus on building prosperity for their people, reaching out to work together with people of other countries to solve climate and other problems that we already face around the world.

With major advancements in technology, in the near future, worrying about an exploding pager, will unfortunately, be the LEAST of anyone's worries on a daily basis, worldwide. Agree this is FAR from a joke. A few days before this horror I watched a YT video on present day life in Beirut. The Lebanese in Beirut are a modern, intelligent people who are suffering under terrible living conditions, with shortages of electricity, soaring food prices, lack of necessities, and limited income. When this happened and they said it was an attack on "Hezbollah," I knew it would affect these everyday Lebanese who were just going about their everyday activities. This wasn't a targeted attack on a military base or on the enemy's frontline. It was random & happened in homes, supermarkets, offices, sidewalks, public spaces, in cars, trucks, buses, schools, even in ambulances! Hezbollah are part of the elected government, have administrative jobs,etc. not just military men hunting down the enemy. The pagers were held by healthcare workers, lawyers, parents, bus & truck drivers, etc who were already struggling. The injured were often bleeding profusely, the dead included several children. People were blinded. 4,000 explosions.
