Author Douglas Murray has called out the “endless persecution” of Donald Trump.
Mr Murray joined Sky News host Rita Panahi to discuss the former US president.
“I do think it’s a kind of persecution,” Mr Murray said.
“I have plenty of criticisms of Donald Trump.
“But if you wanted to make sure he wasn’t elected again, then run a really good candidate against him.”

Excuse me Murray, this isn't persecution, it's his entire life catching up with him. He's been going down this road for years and years but because he was rich, he'd tie up all the charges by suing everyone and anyone and stalling until people backed down because they lost all their money, business, and sometimes families while they fought his corrupt machined. If he would have stayed in his golden tower, he probably would never have been indicted for anything but, he opened himself up to our larger society when he came down that escalator. Oh the poor, endlessly persecuted, Orange Toddler! Most people understand that if they break the law that there will likely be legal consequences for doing so and this acts as a deterrence that keeps them from breaking the law. So when someone like the Orange Toddler breaks laws and keeps breaking the law without any consequences, like they would have to face, it tends to make them a bit irritated. They get irritated at the system that allows it but they also get irritated at the perpetrator (in this case, the perpetraitor) and begin to persecute him. They know that the system should address his criminality, like it would them if they were criminal, but since it doesn’t, in a timely manner, they direct their irritation at the criminal. And when you get someone as high profile as an ex-President that’s broken a lot of laws you’re going to have a lot of persecution from a lot of people directed at him. Understand?
