Douglas Murray calls on Guardian to ‘go for all mosques’ after Garrick Club reporting

Author Douglas Murray has called on The Guardian to “go for all the mosques” in the United Kingdom after they targeted the Garrick Club for having male-only membership.
The Garrick Club - a gentlemen’s club in London - voted on Tuesday to allow women to join for the first time.
It followed a row that had bitterly divided its male-only membership.
“There were some people going on about segregated spaces and so on; well, I’ve got a challenge for them, and, indeed, a challenge for The Guardian: if you’re worried about sex-segregated spaces, why don’t you go to mosques up and down the United Kingdom and elsewhere and find rooms that women are not allowed to go into,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“They should go, and they should make sure that all of these male-only areas in mosques are having women introduced to them.
“After the Garrick, go for all of the mosques in the UK, and good luck, guys, you’re going to need it.”

I used to be a barmaid in a social club that had a men only bar and, let me tell you, it was great. If men wanted to be with their wives/girlfriends, they'd go into the lounge where the language and behaviour was appropriate to mixed company. In the men only bar, the language and behaviour was a little more......lax. The men could relax and not worry about offending anyone, say what they wanted, swear as much as they wanted, be free of the social constraints of being in mixed company. I loved working that bar. I was always treated with respect, but it was nice to see the blokes able to be blokey without any repercussions. Men only spaces are as essential for men as women only spaces are for women.

Men deserve just like Women to have their own spaces. To talk Man talk,Tell Man jokes and Male bonding with things in common like Being a Man. Let Women in Men's spaces then a few scatter Cushions later the Women will complain about the sense of humour,Don't like the decor,Men blamed for intimidating Women,How Women should modernize things for Women and diversity and inclusion. Then the Men will feel like Aliens in their own club. My friend drives for first great Western. The amount of exams he had to do both practical and theoretical, then the rules, policies, health and safety that he had to learn are truly overwhelming. He's said that FGW are already thinking of lowering standards as it takes such a long time to train the drivers and there's a shortfall. That's bad enough, but now they'll likely lower standards further to get diversity hires through the door more easily too. That is terrifying.
