Author Douglas Murray has slammed the “wrongheaded” university students at pro-Palestine protests for being in “lockstep” with someone who planned the October 7 attacks.
“All of those wrongheaded students on various campuses who’ve made common cause with Hamas - they’re on exactly the same page, lockstep with one of the people who planned the 7th of October massacre,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“I hope they’re proud of themselves. History will be horrible to them.”

I'm sorry to say that your first paragraph isn't correct. I'm not sure what your source is but the facts are quite different. Many - though a small number were there for maybe a few hundred year - were mostly transient workers attracted by the job opportunities from the new immigrants from Europe. Most were South Syrian (which stretched from Syria to parts of Iraq and included Transjordan, created by the end of the Ottoman Empire. THe agreed Jewish state (signed at the League of Nations San Remo Convention in 1920) had appointed two Mandates to punish Turkey for its part in WW1: French, which divided Northern Syria into Lebanon and Syria, and the rest to Britain: British Palestine and Transjordan. Palestine INCLUDED East Jerusalem and the West Bank, as well as the Gaza Strip. It's moot to say that Transjordan was the Two State solution to all of the Arabs who did not wish to be part of the Jewish State. It still - as now - did not suit the Arabs. Britain decided , in its wisdom, to give Transjordan to the Hashemite leaders, who were in fact of Saudi origin, and renamed it Jordan. After the 1948 war won by Israel (with the help of allied forces including Britain, the USA and even France), Gaza was ceded to Egypt (which has never wanted it). However, in 1949, Jordanian forces marched in and illegal;u took over East Jerusalem and the West Bank, threw out the Jews living there, destroyed all things Jewish and joined Egypt, Syria in shelling Israeli territory . In the 1967's Six Day war, Israel took the opportunity to RECLAIM Jerusalem and the West Bank from their Jordan OCCUPIERS (in terms of international law, now being denied). Just to add that there was no Persian influence, buy some Ottomans (Turks) had stayed and integrated, but what a lot of people don't know is that the Ottomans had imported a good few thousand Muslims from their conquered Eastern European countries, primarily Muslim Croatians and Albanians. The African Muslims you speak of were only from the northernmost parts of Islamicized Africa, namely Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia/Eritrea and perhaps some Senegalese. To be noted is that even today, the Arab word for black people is "Abed" , translating as "slaves". It was just always about whatever numbers were required to fight and destroy the Jewish State. Finally, the description of "Arabs" became "Palestinians" as late as 1964, when born Egyptian Yasser Arafat (therefore not "Palestinian") and his cohorts, decided that by claiming to be such would make it possible to claim not just parts of the region but all of it. It had nothing to do with associating themselves with the Romans.

Does the Quran instruct the killing of all unbelievers? Most assuredly it does. The Taqiya answers given already are without foundation as they are quoting abrogated text and ignore history. Muhammad’s response was because they are not Muslim. “Ali went a bit and then halted and did not look about and then said in a loud voice: Allah’s Messenger, on what issue should I fight the people?
