God made a covenant with Abraham, in the olden days, concerning that land. It was for His son, Issac, and grandchild, Jacob, and his descendants. But it was occupied by illegal settlers; therefore the God of Israel fought on behalf of and with Israel, inch by inch, for that land. To this day, the covenant still stands. Hence, those that acknowledge this covenant do not have a problem with Israel; it's those that refuse to honor it that contend about it.

The difference is that Israel is a settler-colonial state, and only Israel is said to have some special “right to exist” by its supporters. I don’t see any other country being said to have some unique right to exist. Russia is not a settler state but you can see people against their control of Crimea. To make it clearer for you, in this scenario Israel is Russia and Palestine is Crimea. Although the natives of Crimea are still there, Israelis are mostly foreign to the land. That’s the difference, it has nothing to do with anti-Semitism.
