I first encountered Douglas Spotted Eagle's music in 1992 while camping at Horse Thief Lake in South Dakota. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and the couple camping next to us were from Rosebud. Richard Fears No Enemy and Linda Wounded Bird. Richard was playing Douglas' tape... Canyonspeak and I was transfixed. When I woke the morning they broken camp and left, I found the tape sitting on our table along with a note. I wore that tape out listening to it and I still think of Richard and Linda with love and gratitude.

you cry because of the hrz it is recorded in also the fact that these people who lived by the earth got slaughtered by the white man for land and power and they were forced to abandon their native ways of life, its heartbreaking I too cry, peace and love to you

Bellissima melodia! ❤️🤗

Yes.......humbling, grateful, emotional, bittersweet, present & future, homesick, frightened yet at ease for what's to come, great love, give & recente, pain & Joy.....Just everything. The chanting cuts like a knife through all the layers built up to make it on this Earth. Nature teaches us we are just dust in the wind.... Thank you for showing the Essence in this song. Bless you and all indigenous people all over the world that were killed and driven by colonists for their greed.

That is an experience I want to have. I have found my calling is to be that of a shaman but I’m also called to teach others to find love again. It’s what we do as dating coaches and it’s also why I have this gaming channel. I aim To teach spirituality and love while gaming.
