I finally went, got the train to Edinburgh, then the bus. Made it with 10 minutes to spare. Very fun course and extremely friendly people, but I am starting to get the impression that all you Scots are bloody lovely.

@@Scottishparkruns Ah, I must've been having too much fun and missed him. Snuck in a cheeky sub-20, then went back to Edinburgh to do a 20km along the water of Leith. I walked part of the way back to Dalkieth before getting the bus and saw some incredible views of the mountains in the background. Amazing country you've got, my wife was stuck at home in London and was definitely envious. I still think my favourite parkrun ever is Holyrood, did that for her birthday in Jan this year. Really want to go back. Have a great week!
