DOUX Bee Girl Honey Curl Custard: Could it be the ultimate?

I like this gel for my wash and go. I apply with a light hand and then stretch my coils while they are wet, either with clips or hair weights. Fantastic results that easily last until next wash day.

The definition is definitely insane . What you could use to soften your roots is a light cream. I really love the definition and shine. At least you know the style will last😊

⁠​⁠​⁠@@NaturallyCorporateI used the Garnier Fructis leave in (green bottle) butttt I SWEAR BY Influance Shea Butter Moisturizer. I replaced oil for a moisturizer a few years back and my hair has flourished. I did the leave in, moisturizer, then the Bee Girl.

Giiiirrrrlll...that definition is in a class by itself. I knew it was going to come out very defined but I wasn't ready! You can use a light oil like grapeseed oil to soften it a little more, but I think it looks gorgeous! I still can't find it at my Walmart. They're always sold out. That stuff is amazing for wash and gos so I cannot wait to see how yours turns out! Have a Happy Thanksgiving friend! 😘

Beautiful set! That custard has great hold. I use the custard for areas I need more hold for a wash n go. I don't do twists anymore but I don't think I would like it for a twist out- Crazy Sexy Curl or Mousse Def would be my go to's for twists. I find the custard needs the hair to be very wet (out the shower wet lol) and a little goes a long way. It may have been the water:product ratio that made it more crunchy/drying but the cast crunches out nice. Thanks for the post!

Your hair is beautiful!. I suggest going forward use more water and less of the custard. Using too much custards either make your hair gummy or too hard.

The Honey Curl Custard is not supposed to be used this way, it's for a wash and go only, as far as I know. You should use the Cream (Twist and Curl Cream) for a twist out. Maybe mixing the two would work.
