They already objected SC's upholding of abrogation of article 370, if POK is going from their grip, then they might declare a war or do something in the vicinity...

That is why it should happen when (not if) China invades Taiwan. China will be too occupied to do anything in PoK and International focus will be heavily on China to bother much about India. China knows this as well; and hence it's frustration and lashing outs in Himalayas now and then. This is assuming India doesn't have an useless government with someone like Pappu/Lallu as PM at the time and something akin to the current dispensation is in power then.

I believe the government has already formulated a military plan along with the necessary political groundwork. They are waiting for all the international pieces to fall at the correct places. Eg.
