I think this is so funny because her style reminds me how I found my style in my youth. I was always super goth but raised mennonite so eveything i wore was so not goth and very absolutely mute. When i moved out i went full like, platinum goth debuting every color ever of hair be it pink,green,orange, blue or whatever but my favorite was the first time i ever truly colored my hair was half blonde and my bangs black. Idk why but i really really liked it then in the winter for christmas I had a friend buy me a really really expensive pair of high knee length boots and lace mid thigh black dress and a literal like witch cape with white in lining. I debuted this style at work out in public because I knew that's where it would get the most feedback and in the bible belt the only feed back I really got was like OMG 😱 or commenting that i look like i worship satan but really i just always loved the style but still in that sort of finding myself and my own style but whats so great bout style is that it never stops evolving like im 30 now and still wear tons of black but i also have huge like campy pieces. I have pink shoes that i wear a lot to kind of bolden out a bland look like blue jeans and white t but I also have a leather jacket and black skinny jeans with plaid patterned skirts. Just kind of wear those whenever I feel more like eh today I want to look goth and listen to punk rock and if not I go camp with the pink. I think it's fantastic that everyone can show their unique self any time and their mood strictly through fashion and clothes. Even now I have a five year old and she's always asking what she should wear and we always say whatever you feel like wearing so long as its appropriate for weather shoe her how to layer to still wear what she wants but keep it warm or whatever. It's fun for me to see that evolution grow in her because now she's getting to the point that she's doing her own outfits and some are really fun while others I'm like if I was five id totally wear that.
