I put one in my basket because it had the rear sight in front of the red dot and it comes with a front sight also just in case the battery dies you can still shoot your target if need to and how did you come across the dove mounting kit

I received mines in the mail yesterday to mount on my S&W M&P 9mm Compact. I should receive HS407K X2 tomorrow in the mail. Looking forward to some good shooting at the range.

Sorry! Firearm Glock 43x, laser/ light stream light tlr6 (I recommend the non laser version), holster the vedder light tuck and red dot is the Holosun 407kx2

I’m assuming that front sight is just a regular suppressor height sight right? If so I’d be looking for a fiber optic that it also a night sight such as the regulo tfx to use along this. I’m definitely trying this product out.

Correct. They actually make a Tritium upgrade for this kit that can be purchased separately or I believe bought with the kit! Hoping to buy it soon!

does the co witnessing get in the way of the red dot...

I had some issues when I had the fiber rod red, however with it being yellow now there’s no issues. The co-witness is important in the event that your main optic goes down

So is this mounting kit for the 43x really good and better than the DDP mounting kit and the Dove mounting kit really lower than the DDP kit

I think so. It’s about 3x thinner than the dpp plate (time stamp about 1:48) and because of those I didn’t have issues zeroing the red dot. It’s also more comfortable to wear as the red dot felt a bit too tall with the dpp

@@lewishanson7847 thanks bro! So I had the dpp for a few months before I had this channel but always felt it sat too high. I had looked into getting my slide milled but found this right before I was going to do that! Very happy with it so far!

Every modern pistol should be factory universal direct mount. My psa dagger has my RMR sitting VERY low without any plate or adapters
