I have the same shotgun / choke combo but mine is in 12 gauge. Thousands of rounds thru it and never ever once had a malfunction. It's my son's now but it's still in my gun safe so I pull it out occasionally. So many guns, so little time!

Back in the late 1970’s -early 1980’s, I had a friend who hunted chukars with a 20 gauge 1100. It was a great shotgun.

Good video and fine vintage 1100. How did you learn to calculate lead vs. speed of the bird vs. distance? Is that something that can be learned or is it a sort of innate zen spiritual magic that some shooters have? ~ I have a very hard time hitting a dove even when they fly in close.

Awesome videos. Im not judging at all as i am an avid dove/bird hunter. But, does the pup have any trouble passing the dove heads? Seems like a good treat and i may adopt this!!!
@OntheChase23 күн бұрын
@@The4blade he’s had no issue! Some people say it makes them have a hard mouth, though. Not wanting to give the birds up. I haven’t had TOO many issues with that

Wow !! Enjoyed watching that dog work !!! How come the doves look bigger in flight versus when dead ? Wingspan can't be that long !!!!

I assumed it was a signal to the dog to lock in and watch. My old lab could be in a dead sleep, but as soon as she heard the safety click off, she was locked in. Loved seeing Jake work
