Wild Winter Season Dove Hunt - Limited in Less than 20 Minutes

The winter dove season down here in Texas started last week. It was a warm 79 degrees on this late December day, but we still found a ton of birds. I had a great time shooting the video. I hope y'all enjoy watching!

Jalapeno --> Cream cheese --> dove slice --> bacon --> skewer --> Smoker at 190 for 30 minutes --> Crank the smoker up to 375 for an additional 30 minutes --> Done.

It depends on the area I’m hunting. If I know I’m going to be doing a lot of pass shooting, where there may be longer shots, I’ll use a modified. If I’m hunting a tank or plot, and the birds are coming into me, I’ll use an improved cylinder. You can’t go wrong either way!

@@HMuny55 I haven’t had issues with it. The issue he has is the feathers from dove coming off in his mouth. He chokes on them occasionally and has to drop it and cough them out. Ducks, no problem with shedding.
