I managed a group, one of the important things I felt I needed to do as a leader is prep the group for changes coming down the pipeline. If it were possible I would brief changes in advance, explain the purpose and goal, then set a date for the implementation of the change to our process. This allowed my group to adjust their schedules, ask questions and be as successful as possible in the change. That’s not the point of the example you used in the reading, I know, but I think it’s an important thing for leaders to consider. 😊

There are two kinds of judgment. Critical Judgment and Value Judgment. Critical Judgment is dysfunctional and is usually projection. Value Judgment is functional and determines what works and what doesn't without being in your feelings.
