Carl, I would also like to commend you on your videos. I am a retired toolmaker and lifelong woodworker. I really enjoy your attention to detail. I learned through the years to think things through before executing the next step, and it really shows through in your style of working. Thanks for the videos and I hope you keep at it. I am really enjoying them!

Searching for plane info and bingo, what an excellent resource and teaching method. Retired and have now joined the local men’s shed community so all the woodworking tips will be put to great use.

Thanks! After teaching handtools for almost 20 years, it was clear where people had the most trouble cutting dovetails. Unfortunately though, there's no "trick" for sawing well. It just takes a lot of practice.

Carl, I'm enjoying all of your videos - keep them coming! I especially like the occasional appearance of a pi pencil. Here is the link to Pekovich's dovetail jig: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2OvoniPncuhjas It is from Shop Talk Live #87. The segment starts around 13:10. I've been using that jig since you showed it to us in the Advanced Handtools Dovetails class back in 2016.

Thanks Gary! Good to hear from you. I added the link to the description, starting at the discussion of the jig. And thanks for the pi pencils! I think I have several.
