Good information Dheeraj, I took my 1.5 years old to Kunzum Paas in 2023 and at less than 3 years we went to Shinkhula and Gumbok Rangan... yes I followed the precautions suggested by you.. But, when I went to pediatrician they suggesyed me to take care of my self not kids as they are fitter than us.. Nonetheless I would like to connect to discuss as I am planning Umilingla with my daughters in may 2025.. Please let me know how we can connecy.

Thank you for sharing such great information. We are planning to take our daughter (2 years 6 months old) to Leh in July end, I have read that the weather is pleasant at that time (I know you have already shared your opinion and tips) - but just wanted to ask: 1. About the weather - it shouldn't be much cold? 2. Can we stay at Hanle for stargazing or would not recommend?
@discoverwithdheeraj Жыл бұрын
1. Weather in July is mostly pleasant. If it is overcast it gets cold but usually pleasant. 2. As long as you are traveling after acclimatisation and following nights at Leh, Nubra, Pangong without any AMS symptoms and then Hanle should be OK

@discoverwithdheeraj9 ай бұрын
Please check with your doctor for it, I am not aware of an co-relation here but as long as you follow the basics of acclimatization, travel slowly, child is anyways healthy and is comfortable with the itinerary/travel in general, plus able to communicate the uneasiness or any symptoms properly if arise, in general, it shall be OK and should be same as any other child.

Hi Dheeraj I am planning to travel Ladakh in March 23 on motorcycle. ( electric bike ) I want to cover Spiti valley, Zanskar valley and then to Srinagar Please Guide me with tentative days required for this tour plan. Also confirm can I get ev charging stations on Leh Kargil road and in Zanskar and also dras Srinagar road.
@discoverwithdheeraj2 жыл бұрын
Vaibhav, most likely the roads, even if open at all (usually not open), will be pretty dangerous to travel that early in the season. I will suggest caution in planning such a road trip that early in season. You MUST NOT travel at all on Manali Leh, which most likely will be closed anyways. Regarding EV charging stations, I have not heard about them yet.

Hello sir. My son is 1 year and 8 months old. Is it safe to take my kid to leh ? We are directly flying to leh on April 1st week. Is it safe?
@discoverwithdheeraj Жыл бұрын
Hello Akshatha, well, I have already given my personal recommendation in the video about taking kids younger than 5 yr old to Ladakh.. personally if you will ask me I wont travel with my kid of such young age especially in April when it is still much cold.. Pangong lake will be frozen and conditions are very cold if you plan to spend time there.. In the end, if you still plan to go for the trip, then I will very highly recommend that you talk to your Paediatrician and follow his/her advice on it. Needless to say, as it will be more or less cold conditions, better go well prepared if at all you plan to travel..

Well, usually, if you travel from Shimla side, follow a well acclimatized itinerary, and stay well hydrated, don't exert too much within Spiti, then it shall be fine to travel.. You can skip overnight stay at Chandratal to be on safer side.. You can follow the itinerary mentioned here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWTHq6Clqp6iabs

Why dont u update the spiti valleys drivers list. Most of the drivers do monopoly and ask unfair charges. U should enter some new drivers name They are not the only driver in spiti valley. There are many more
@discoverwithdheeraj Жыл бұрын
Well, there are about 26 drivers listed bhai.. how much more do you need? It is not easy to maintain and manage reliable folks and is very difficult to allow everyone to mention their names.. I had opened that up but then all local travel agents started mentioning stories as guests to get their name entered and start becoming a middle men for any XYZ drivers.. That is the reason I do not update them.. But, if you have any geniune recommendation that you have experienced, then I may take a look into it.

@discoverwithdheeraj Жыл бұрын
Hi Deepa, I do not conduct or offer any tour services. I only offer travel information for FREE and help locals as well as travelers connect with each other directly so they benefit from each other in best possible way. If you see a similar name company or same name company as of DevilOnWheels which is the original brand that I created, such similar names/same names offering tour services are all cheats and fake ones who have stolen/copied my brand name and conduct tours for commercial benefits. I have no relation with such fake companies. Beware of such cheats. If you need tour packages help, I can connect you with some local based tour operators in all over Ladakh, Spiti, Zanskar, etc.. You can always get in touch with Leh based tour provider Ken +91 84510 57819, +91 866-9121640. You can refer my name to him and he shall do his best to offer best experience.
