I got me thinking and I wanted to try this experiment to see what will Hindi videos be like. Content quality will be at par or above with English videos. You can do it in single day, just leave by 7 am

Excellent... After your ladakh series I came to know how much i had missed even after 2-3 visits in that divine place.. Hopefully same will happen with Spiti-Lahaul series also. I am just having one suggestion, some of my friends from Alabama and Georgia got some extravagant packages for 14 days of ladakh trip from an agent based in Delhi... but after your ladakh series they contacted some locals and found it extremely convenient... Hey Saurabh, happy to be of such help brother! It is a pleasure to me. Generally first week of July up to middle of July is still a good time to travel and usually the rains are heavy around August and late July. But again we are mere mortals and with climate changes it hard to predict but I feel that you shall be fine with above timeline. As of now I feel Spiti Valley will be with less hassles as Himachal has relaxed and discounted even the RTPCR requirements. Ladakh may soon follow the same if all things stay positive direction but for now it seems Spiti/Himachal is less hassle. An regarding video, I do publish now monthly updates in first week of every month now :)

Bhai, Himachal has removed the need of RTPCR report for tourists entering Himachal. So you just need a Epass to enter himachal which can be applied using their official website. You need to show a booking to get that approved. Please send in the request early as it takes few days to get the approval. Else in Himachal you don’t need the RTPCR. Regarding Jammu and Kashmir, there is still a need of negative RTPCR report as far as I know. That one you may need to manage may be in Keylong hospital so that you have it when you enter Jammu region on the last leg of you trip

I have few questions in mind, if you could help, it'll be great 1. We would like to go and stay at Chitkul instead of Saharan. Is it sensible to go and stay at Chitkul directly from Chandigad? will it be too much altitude climb in single day? 2. Is it sensible to drive from Chandratal Lake (Battal) to leh in single day ? it gives us one full day at Leh for permits and everything 3. Is it sensible to drive from Tso Moriri to Jispa vis Tso Kar and Moor Plains in one day and from Jispa to Chandigad in one day ?

It is a good decision I will say that to go via Shimla side. 1. Chandigarh to Chitkul is long drive and then Chitkul is high altitude and not recommended 2. Chandratal to Leh is not possible. You have to stop at Jispa 3. Tso MOriri to Jispa can be done in one day.

I intend to travel from Atal Tunnel side (Keylong) to Kaza on some day in between 03-10-2022 to 05-10-2022 by 1) 1st choice - HRTC bus, 2) 2nd choice Shared Taxi 3) 3rd choice Shared Tempo Traveller. Please suggest whether the route will be open from Lahul side or should I plan my trip from Shimla Sangla Kaza Tabo Dhankar Kaza Atul Tunnel Keylong. In case of 2nd choice of travel from Shimla side what should be the mode of transport to opt.

Well, from Srinagar to Spiti you can travel via Manali side where you can travel from Srinagar to Jammu, Jammu to Dharamshala, Dharamshala to Manali, Manali to Kaza. If you are coming from Leh then you can travel from Leh to Jispa or Keylong, Jispa or Keylong to Chandratal Lake via Gramphu Batal road and then Chandratal Lake to Kaza. Chandratal Lake comes in Spiti Valley.

Dheeraj bhai - I had a very enjoyable trip to Ladakh in May'22 thanks majorly to your informative videos. Need your advice on two options I am mulling 1. Go to Ladakh again in 2023 ( I don't mind a repeat trip. I think that'll help me enjoy Ladakh thoroughly. 2. Go to Manali-Lahaul-Spiti. This an obvious choice just to avoid spending another 80-90k on a place I have recently been to What would you recommend? You are fantastic in Hindi, one question , if we travel by HRTC Bus from recongpeo to Kaza and then to Manali then do we need to carry our voter ID and Aadhar card for entry as you said permit is required for registration

No permit required for domestic tourists in Spiti Valley. Entry required at Sumdo checkpost only. It is better to carry at least one national ID proof with you to prove your nationality

Thank you so much bhai for reassuring the selection of Hindi. Based on such amazing support I think I don't need more videos to prove this experiment but will still keep an eye. Regarding Spiti trip in first week of October, it gets a bit cold but then it has amazing colors of fall during that time. If you can go prepared for cold conditions in morning and evenings especially when camping at Chandratal, then it will be really good time to visit Spiti (one of my favourite)

Kunzum Pass is cleared of snow, does not mean allowed to travel. But yes go from Shimla side and keep a back up of coming from same side in case Manali to Kaza is not open by that time. However, BRO is trying to clear the Manali Kaza road by end of this month. I keep publishing the weekly updates in the community tab of this channel. Plz subscribe and stay tuned.

Shimla to Kaza to Losar, you shall be all OK and have seen everything in Ladakh. After Kunzum Pass to Manali (Batal to Gramphu) would really be like driving on river bed and small car would create challenges.

Kapil bhai, there are relaxations which are happening in Himachal as they got rid of the requirement of RT PCR report. Then Ladakh shops are open now for more time and highways are getting stable with each passing week. Camps are getting ready in Ladakh. So, things are moving in positive direction. If Ladakh gets ride of RT PCR requirement then hassle wise it would be much less. Again the risk of Covid-19 will still stays the same unless we all get vaccinated to maximum extent possible in India. Regarding your question on if you have a private car then you are allowed to travel anywhere in Ladakh. It is the commercial taxis which are banned for local Ladakh sightseeing, you can still reach in them to Leh.

Abhishek, it seems that yes, requirements/restrictions are loosening and I heard that Leh - Ladakh is also preparing to ramp up the stay and camps. Himachal lifted the RT PCR requirements and if things stay well and downhill with Corona in Ladakh we can expect similar move there too in time to come. So end of July, it seems less hassles for now.

The road to Chandratal was closed but you can trek/hike up there to the lake. The road might open soon as well. Also authorities are not yet allowing camps to be setup due to corona guidelines and they have requested permission from the higher authorities to let them setup camps. Decision is still awaited as far as I know, so if you want to visit Chandratal now then it need to be a quick hike and back to Batal or Losar by evening.
