Wow it's nice to see Phillip performing after Pantera, I have seen Pantera before and it was so amazing to see, It was so heavy and Diamond Darrel as he was called back then before he changed it too Dimebag, it was so heavy and Phillip was the best front man ever, he talked to the crowd a lot and I remember him saying after someone fell in the pit, he said " we are all brothers here and when one of your brothers falls down pick him up, help him out " then he said that he loved us all so much and that he was going to take the whole crowd out for shots of tequila after the show hehe, I remember an older gentlemen who said he had seen a lot of shows before and he had never seen a more nice and cool front man then Phillip Anselmo.... Best show ever ... that was when Cemetery Gates was on the list of songs that night :) much love to all of the Pantera and Down fans out there ;)

Seeing Phil perform live is an event. Especially with Pantera. I have never been to shows more chaotic. There were times Pantera shows made SLAYER shows look like a Katy Perry concert. No disrespect to SLAYER, but I've seen some weird shit at Pantera shows. Was lucky to be a part of that generation and live in Texas.

phil's vocals aren't gone. they've actually played the day before that show, and these days phil just needs a few days in between each shows so he can rest his voice. that's all. i've seen down in austin tx a few months ago, phil's voice was excellent.

SuperUsername4000 2008 was a shocker for me. I thought his voice was totally fucked after Superjoint but he started singing consistently well again after 2006 was over and he got off the junk. That 2009 download set is fucking brilliant. He just needs to drink less and rest his voice from stuff like the Illegals before down go on the road again, then I’m sure he’ll be kicking ass again.
