Thanks for the lesson. I think the rhythm part sounds best with all barred chords. You can really chunk it up for a percussive sound.

Great video. I learned this one a long time ago as a beginner but today as I stumbled upon this video and watched it I realized how well it has been explained. For sure, I can improve my playing of Down on the Corner from this lesson. My biggest challenge to overcome is a slight hesitation and stopping of the right hand when changing to full F chord - I am working hard to overcome but it is frustrating and slow progress. Thanks for the lesson.

I wouldn't have gotten this without your video. I'm playing the riffs with 'double stops'. So instead of single notes, try playing the a second note on the adjacent string at the same time. It makes it sound fuller. Thus the C goes with the E (second fret) on the D string, and then the low G with the B (second fret) on the A string together. If you play the hook line with all double stops it sounds a bit fuller. But what you present is excellent for the beginner. I just expanded it a bit. Cheers!
