This series was the first time I seen Slade, and the sad part is that I never knew his true villain name until I play Mortal Kombat vs DC when he killed some guy in the street and fought flash. I was so confused, but still stoked that he was in the game.

I always thought of slade and deathstroke as one in the same. So I always figured he was trying to take robin as a sort of double revenge against Batman take his old side kick and use him to beat Batman but in the end robin didn’t give in so he moved on to terra as a back up plan. I also loved how it’s his past coming back to haunt the Titans and it’s robins first real arch nemesis !

The main reason I wanted a Season 6 of this show was to show WHY he went after the Teen Titans in the first place. Long story short, his son Grant tried to make a name for himself by swinging at the Titans and ended up killing himself because he used tech he didn't understand. Slade heard about this and just took up his son's contract because NO ONE makes the Wilson family look soft. A job taken is a job completed. This whole thing started because his son was an Villain of the Week idiot. They probably don't even REMEMBER him!

Slade is top tier in that series. Gave all of Dem kids nightmares. I swear pettiness is his religion. He about it 24/7. Even when he's dead, he's T-Bagging the Titans and haunting Dem od. He was worse on Dem kids then Kendrick on Aubreys bitch ass! Loved this show back in the day. Gorgeous memories of making my breakfast then turning on the TV for hours of Cartoon/anime goodness. I miss those days. Using the fridge to charge batteries for the remote, playing fighting games every time at laundry mats, affordable meals, home cooking, listening to endless good music on the radio. The culture. There was also that time when Robin was so obsessed with Slade that that he thought Slade might have been a future version of him and near the episode when Slade and Robin are fighting Robin breaks a piece off of Slades mask and some of Slades hair shows and it looked similar to Robins. Now you could say that was just Robins Batman paranoia but given Slades character I like to think that Slade was doing that intentionally.

What's even crazier, is that Slade aka Deathstroke, is ex-military and he joined a program that was meant to make a supersoldier. Slade was that product, and the dude, just like Batman, was intelligent as hell.
