Fun fact: Down The Mine was supposed to be the actual pilot episode of the series, you can even see prof of this because when Thomas heads to the mine, you can see that his splashers had no stripes and that his chasis was a bit lower placed, thats because that was Thomas' pilot model, you can even find rare photos of Gordon's pilot model wich was going to be used in the scrapped pilot episode.

In my opinion, Johnny Morris is the worst narrator for this franchise. Edit: My opinion has changed since I originally wrote this. I actually really like Johnny Morris, in the way I love Micheal Brandon's narration: They are both hilarious! I also must say that some of Johnny Morris' voices, while maybe not fitting for some engines, are at least done fantastically.
