I was there last month and must say that the Kabarnet-Iten road is the most scenic road I've seen so far! The name of the falls is TOROK

How do you prevent your brakes from heating up while driving down those steep slopes?

I think Modern cars are able to detect inclines which helps in increasing break resistance down or up slopes. With the subaru Levorg that I had, it didn’t have any issues. Also, the descents tend to not be very long. There are sections where it’s relatively flat. I wouldn’t drive a truck on that road though. Maybe that’s why I didn’t see any.

Again, if i want to drive from Nakuru to Iten, which is the best route to use items of distance, fuel consumption and safety?

Using the Marigat kabarnet route will save on both distance, fuel and time since the route is not as busy as driving via Eldoret.
