I ride from Kabarnet to Iten, across the great African rift, in Kenya, in Africa.
On the way, I visit a beautiful gorge, and then I meet some lovely fruit sellers.

At 14:40, the entire avocado basket priced at 100 Kshs, which is less than a dollar 😮. Imagine someone still assumes that there are food shortages in Africa. While certain parts of Africa do face shortages, it's not due to a lack of food but rather poor distribution. There might be periods of natural challenges, which often are inevitable. But disparities exist, with some regions having an abundance but lacking connectivity to supply to those regions with less. What's essential is leadership prioritizing the comprehensive connection of Africa. A single high-quality avocado, like those in Norway, costs the equivalent of 400 Kshs. Kino, your videos contribute greatly to humanity, especially for Kenya; you dispel numerous myths about the country. Kenya seems safe, a bit developed, beautiful in all ways, and home to warm and friendly people.
@KinoYves

Everything you say is 100% right. The price of these avocados was indeed, mind-boggling. I was almost ashamed to pay 50 shillings for the 2 avocados, yet I was completely overpaying. The distribution is, indeed, surely the main issue, and it's most likely because of the roads. The main roads are good, but there are still very few paved roads. Most secondary roads are still dirt roads.

Hey Yve, The man who asked you what you plan to achieve at the end was brilliant. Perhaps you should ask yourself that question everyday. I believe you can achieve much more than seeing how the world is and showing others on youtube. Just think about it bro. All the best in your journey.

Hey Yves, Out of the many many towns and cities you have passed through are there some with unforgettable memories?When ever you call them like "I am going to Iten" and when they are your target destinations after a though journey,the feeling I always get is as if those towns are the center of the world!This is part of the joy and adventure of travelling with you!...From the comfort of my seat ofcourse!!😁 You need to do a special series also! Although every single one is special, it will give us to re-visit the stories again!! Cheers, brother!

You’re very brave Yves. I worry about you trying to travel all the way to Cape Town. Be careful especially in South Africa. It’s dangerous there. I will be in Zimbabwe and Botswana soon. Maybe I’ll see you on the road.

@@Hobby_trails_family_unedited I love how protective South Africans are when anyone criticizes the country for being crime ridden. I think those so quick to defend South Africa are either dependent on tourist dollars or the criminals themselves. Recently read an article on the high rate of rapes and murders in South Africa and the rise in private security in SA because of the low apprehension rate of these criminals by SA police. Stop criticizing people for calling out the bad behavior and do something to rid the country of high crimes.
