I don't think that Pet Semetary is terrifying in the traditional sense, but it is a horrifyingly accurate portrait of the process of losing someone you love and how grief can make you crazy.

In the original movie Jud wore a "bucket hat" I decided that for 2024 I am no longer subscribing to any book boxes (except Nightworms) I'm taking a year off because either they have been arriving months later than expected, or books & products don't add to what I paid for them unfortunately.

This is exactly why I don’t do the box’s anymore. They always ended up making me want to cry. Loved the book and movie though.

That bag made me chuckle. In this while wide world, they couldn't find a more appropriate one that would actually fit the theme a teeny tiny bit? If I saw all of these items and was asked to guess which book they represented, I would not in a million years guess Pet Sematary. So much money for so little effort of their part, I completely understand why you're disappointed.

The purse should at the very least have been black! I am surprised that not a single item had anything to do with a cemetery.

It was SUCH a disappointing box! And I agree! No cemetery stuff at all made no sense and that purse was ridiculous.

That purse was NOT it! It looks like it's for a child. I am never really impressed by this box, but that was shockingly bad. I wonder if there's copyright issues where they can't make items specific to the book, but that is no excuse 😅
