Keith I’ve been along time fan. Your videos have literally helped me through some of my darkest times. Not looking for a “feel sorry for me” just wanted to stop by and express me being extremely grateful for what you do. Also being a lefty is very limiting when it comes to quality guitars. I now own 6 KM7’s. These guitars are just fucking fantastic. Recently did a show with Bumblefoot and David Ellefson, saw the guitars I was using and did nothing but complement the axes. From one passionate musician to the next, just wanted to say thank you for all that you do. Stay brutal 🤘 -Dynomite

@@toemasmeems Although those JP models are amazing, the KM series just.. for me is just right. The neck profile is perfect. Not to mention the tone of those beasts. Just put my main rig away and switched to the Kemper and paired with the KM models. Again for me, the best axe hands down. I would definitely recommend the KM Series.

@@itchy_tasty8448 lol bro I sold it yesterday hahah I’m purchasing a KM 7 mkiii standard used for 650 which I think is a good deal, right? I mean there’s no doubt in my mind it was the right decision as on principle that I have loved Schecter for over a decade now. A merrow model is just icing and guaranteed desired specs

@@toemasmeems $650? Damn that’s an awesome deal. His newer models are a lot like the S series from Ibanez (S meaning skinny) body is crazy skinny which I personal love. Plus Keith shaped the neck himself which again for me fits my big ass hands. Either way that’s awesome to hear! Welcome to the Schecter family. When you get a chance check out his newer models there amazing. But don’t let that make you think you got the wrong one. All of his models are fantastic guitars. I’m actually buying another white one of his newer models right now. Keep me posted, love to hear from you when you get it.

The Demo Merrow did with Sea Nymph for the Demon 7 string is what secured my purchase. I managed to get a Brand New one from the Factory for $350! Guitar Center, I bought used online but pandemic so the used one I bought for 320 after shipping and taxes couldnt be sent, so they got me a Brand New for $350 the minute it came from Schecter. It even arrived almost a month before they said it would. Very happy with it, but id still buy a Merrow Model as well.

Ah, so refreshing to hear other adults around my age talk about the greatness that of which is NASUM. Talk about memories man……when I discovered them around 2003 and got in my first REAL band and was practicing guitar NONSTOP. Metal was my life, guitar was my life and NASUM was part of the soundtrack of my life. Makes me weepy. I love it. Awesome video gentlemen.

I've been playing guitar for years but mainly noodled rather than concentrating on getting better. People like Keith inspire me to play more, to practice, to get better; it's such a satisfying experience. I've been made redundant due to the pandemic and playing guitar has kept me going. When I manage to find a job I'm going to start saving for a 7 seven string to learn some riffs from the people that inspire me. Keep up the good work buddy. You're helping many during these tough times.

Well said! Keith rocks man, and I couldn't agree more. I've been thinking the very same thing. I've been just a standard rhythm guitar player for a decade +. I never actually took the time to learn the fretboard and practice techniques. Channels like Keith's, Ola Englund, Jared Dines, ect..... have pushed me in another direction. Hell, another dimension! 🤣... But yeah man, learning new techniques instead of the first 30 seconds of EVERY DAMN SONG, has opened up a whole new world of guitar for me. Ben Eller "uncle Ben" has a FANTASTIC channel for learning any aspect of guitar. He's funny as hell too. If you haven't already, check these other guys out. Take care, stay safe, and keep shredd'n! 🤘

Keith, I barely ever bother to comment on KZbin but between quarantine, you and Ola I’m laying down riffs daily again. I know my piddly views aren’t paying the bills, so I picked up some Sheet Happens tabs to learn some of those tasty riffs of yours. Sea Nymph blew my mind as a youngin. Appreciate what you’re doing for metal fiddlers with this content. Cheers from Canada!

Really cool that you give Nasum some well deserved recognition. Listened a lot to them in the late 90-s/early 00-s and to me and others they were the perfect evolution of the Swedish hardcore, crust and death metal-scenes. Mieszko also produced some killer records. Sorely missed, never forgotten 🤘

Your content is great. Your attention to detail is phenomenal. Your music just makes me feel like I'm some badass villain. Your guitars are *chef kiss*. Your models have the volume knob position just right. Far enough that's not in the way, but close enough if I need to reach for it. I bought the KM7 lefty and felt it so right I had to buy a 6 string so I went and got the KM6 M3 lefty. But, I can also understand why you would feel like you're not hitting high numbers. The only suggestion I have is to try and change up your content a bit(Take it with a grain of salt cause I'm a nobody, but I'm sure others share the same thought ). Most of these episodes are roughly 20 mins talking about gear-related topics. Don't get me wrong. That's what many come here for but, we're not all gear heads. Even I have to admit that after 10 mins I starting considering changing to another video. Don't force it, man. If it doesn't feel right then move on. We'll understand :)

Your "Sick Riff Worship" segment is awesome. I feel like if I was a KZbinr, i'd be annoyed by people asking my opinion about a band or riff requests and you've taken care of those things.
