So many haters in the comments focusing not on congratulating Jordi, but on despising Jasper! That just shows how much of a machine he has been this tour and of course the sportsmanship was definately NOT the best, but throughout the history of TDF sprinters often got caught in controversy and we can only hope Jasper reflects on his behaviour in this tour and continues to perform as a top level sprinter. And of course congrats to Meeus on a phenomenal finish!

Tends to borderline cut people off on the sprint - dangerous manoeuvring on multiple occasions at the least but never been penalised for it, behaved petty when a break formed last sprint almost riding someone off the track whilst urging not to join the break - not necessarily illegal but controversial throughout - in this stage groenewegen even gave him the inside line as one should which Philippsen would never do.. so people just think he’s petty and unsportsmanlike in his approach to racing as it endangers other riders

Groenewegan could've cut Jasper off the way Jasper did in two of his wins but instead held his line. Probably because Groenewegan knows firsthand what can happen when you try and put someone into the barriers. So happy that Jasper "TryAndCrashYa" didn't win today.
