Yu can educate your self that's not the issue really it's the team work ..one they must be living off main city.. not a flat system Architecture is a common subject but u think.maths needs to be guD enugh or physics may b if yu don't have those subjects or don't score well u rnt given Architecture in schools or schools don't have that subject for financial reasons .it is an expensive subject .so how will.parents reach their kids . One can educate oneself but a team is needed practical ground skill.enha xing apprenticeship.. which will take quite some yrs .. can common man team up in their families to support that learning.these educated pple only first earn lots nd then make for themselves only they so that everyone. Help others to build .kya Aissa samaj AAP support kartey ho.esucatii. Bohot hai! One .Ind many bodies nahin hai .paisa paisa marvrahey hain log city mein flat system MEI. Ye laa paayeingey aissey log

I have a mud house which is 508 years now. It is so good to see that there mud houses are being promoted in today's generation. Mostly people consider mud houses to be weak but they're actually much stronger than the steel and concrete ones.

I have similar life goals and am even more inspired to work for something like this. I am surprised that I always used to imagine I would want to escape to somewhere in the hills to settle, but watching this video made me realize that, this lifestyle is still possible in Chandigarh. Oh i am never leaving now, and i hope that one day when i would wanna build with nature, I would reach out to Team Aanandaa, and guide me through the process. thank you for this lovely video.

there's a certain psychological aesthetic to your home that is mesmerizing - I sincerely love your taste and material choices. Your house, even through video looks and feels alive - your walls imperfections are the definition of actual perfection; the fact that you did not use the dreaded fake walls is commendable. I do wonder how cold it gets :) I live in a brick building from 1931 in the centre of Bucharest, my apartment, albeit small, is intricate and has many corners and certain (not enough) rounded edges - I adore your home's vibe and you have all reasons to be proud of the living ecosystem you have achieved

Forget about these people dear, these are still okay …and ma’am (only to Farmanaanandaa) please this is social media, people will talk, no one judging, it’s happening right in front of our eyes, and you have chosen to go public, so brace your self, relax your fine if you stick to basic courtesy (at least I say for myself I am just sharing thoughts,)…… ………I am actually in complete agreement with your comment, … it’s always these rich methods thrown on faces to keep the planet “sustainable”..just think how??…how?” from the perspective of a lower middle class or middle class person is that even possible?.??…..I mean these rich have psychologically reached a secure space, where at minimum they don’t have to worry about the “basics” living things required to live a life. (I am not at all talking about how hard one has earned or they work hard to keep these finances stable etc etc, that’s a different topic, just where this conversation started, that when one has a good wealth and is positioned as ‘rich’ in the society financial rungs). This very psychological strength gives you a sense of confidence and self esteem, and one is able to explore the life without any stress for the “basic human needs” (in Hindi it says ‘roti, kapda or makan’)…… ……….okay I will share a random example,: Jenifer Aniston or JLo or Beyoncé and many many many more, almost all the huge public figures, these huge celebrities/ powerful individuals, all, they constantly talk about eating healthy/ taking care of oneself/ taking care of your body & exercising/ being happy/ meditating/ do Pilates/ go hiking or swimming/ read books/ pamper oneself/ planting some kind of small or little plants/ blah blah blah etc etc…..but these same people insensitively, are seen dunked into the sinful unsustainable fashion practices by filthy rich fashion houses, …and promote them further more. I just don’t get it….i don’t……I get few things can be exceptions, where it’s about one’s physical security, but what about the other aspects of the life??…everywhere it’s thoughtless buying/ spending of unnecessary stuff. What about the bad habits of a human being???. And no sharing of opportunities among the fellow humans???…….such are the human societies created by us.

Wow love it ❤…the house is designed with eco friendly materials that at one time were the core grassroots used by our grandparents generation to build their homes. It is fantastic to see the younger is now slowly coming back to that by also applying the intellectual, architectural concept along with giving the buildings a modern look. I live in uk and even some westerners are moving away from cities/urban areas to rural areas where they are building their homes using the local, natural resources. I am also thinking of doing that when i migrate to a warmer country in couple of years so have been watching videos like this to help and the videos done by 2 architect ladies MASON INC.

Love everything about this beautiful house! The rustic look is what gives its character! So warm and cozy! 👏👏👏 to all the sustainability with the self watering and sewerage plant, the lime instead of paint, the different roofs size and materials, the rounded walls, the use of local labour and materials, and most of all the basement!!! Such an amazing pantry! My dream🥰…💯🙌❤️🙌❤️

Beautiful MashaAllah I am curious to know if hemp is available in your area? And if so, is it being implemented in eco construction as well? I would love to hear your input on that and possibly see hemp buildings that have been made there. Thank you so much for inviting us into your home and your knowledge. It is greatly appreciated. :)

Hemp is not available in our immediate area, but it is available in some villages in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. We have added hemp to our lime mortar and lime plasters in small quantities to give the plaster/ mortar some structure.

An amazing structure. I can only imagine the research and hard work that must have gone behind it. Are there AC’s in any of the rooms, or the materials used and ventilation ensure that its stay’s cool enough even in peak Chandigarh heat?

There is no air conditioning in the entire house. The temperature reaches a high of 32C indoors during the peak of summer. With fans and ventilation it remains cool enough.

You should also tell the price incurred in this sustainable house so that people should plan their finances accordingly.

When build a house, the money principle remains unchanged. You build within your budget and what you can afford. These techniques are not expensive.. they only give more money to artisans and less to rich businesses.

Wow love it ❤…the house is designed with eco friendly materials that at one time were the core grassroots used by our grandparents generation to build their homes. It is fantastic to see the younger is now slowly coming back to that by also applying the intellectual concept along with giving the buildings a modern look. I live in uk and even some westerners are moving away from cities/urban areas to rural areas where they are building their homes using the local, natural resources. I am also thinking of doing that when i migrate to a warmer country in couple of years.
