As everybody knows, pov never gives you that "Oh Sh@@" feel. I was watching this and you cannot understand how steep it really is. These guys are all very good riders and were doing drops and rock stuff so smooth and fast it made the course look even more flat. Great Stuff.

We have an old mine that is a MTB park now here in Anderson, IN. Its a lot of uphill and downhill, mostly the piles of earth they moved and piled create a lot of whoop sections or uphills and downhills that allow you to keep your momentum going down and using the speed to get back up easily

On your live stream I commented about putting a BB spacer to space the drive side crank out so the chainring doesn't hit the frame . This will 100% work . Do not machine the frame down as the wall thickness might not be enough .

Oh man, so much good stuff in this video! I love how they built the natural features into the trail! I don't know why, but it makes me super nostalgic about shooting down the trails around my old house in NH. So I gotta ask... How did you like the fork? Allowed to talk about it yet? :)
@SkillsWithPhil7 жыл бұрын
I can now, the Helm was released yesterday! I love it. It's very supple and you can make it ramp up super quickly. You can make it ridiculously progressive. The one in this video I'm going to assume was nitrogen charged or had special floating piston. The valve caps were taped shut and if you look at the pinkbike article they talked about trying different models out. They wouldn't tell me if there was anything different with the fork I was riding that day.

Phil at the beginning of the video you said the Tokul was undergunned. After riding it do you think the Tokul could have made it and what would have been the disadvantages??? Im looking at a similar model and wanted hardtail so thats why im asking. Thanks
@SkillsWithPhil7 жыл бұрын
Could have, but I wouldn't want to. The Tokul doesn't like high-speed gnarliness. It's good for slow/medium pace technical trails but once you start opening it up the lack of rear suspension is a limiter especially at bike parks. For trail riding and flowy bike park trails the Tokul is great.
