Rocky Mountain just announced they are restructuring to stave off bankruptcy.... maybe if the bikes weren't $5-8k each they may not be going in a downward spiral

KEEP it up I love this content !! And you guys come across as such good humans. Don't care what bike you ride. But any Bike brand would be fools not to pick you guys up. you unreal ambassadors !!

As bigger and bigger conpanies keep acauiring brands you will see more companies killed and sponsorships taken away due to the drive for profits. This is happening across all markets not just bikes. Its very sad to see brands killed off by these mega companies.

Gutted, man. You were the one to inspire me to get onto a GT (Force) a few years ago, i loved it. So with the company pausing, that's really such a shame! I hope you get things all worked out. And i hope to see more content from you in the future.

This is sad but i did see a thing about a week ago about them pausing development of new products. I felt something was up with that.

Best of luck Phil. Always have loved the content and your riding. GT was lucky to have you and hopefully they will come back but you are a talented and resilient person and will figure out a way forward. I just hope you can do so and still chase your dreams

Gt isn’t the only company. Rocky Mountain just announced today that they are filing for bankruptcy protection. But unfortunately, we may start seeing more brands announcing their struggles. However, keep up the great content Phil!!

For those of us in the business, this isn't news at all. I'm sorry that happened to you, but the old Dorel companies are always in a state of circling the proverbial drain since 1997.

One of the main problems for me and the examples in the video is strong rotation of the pedal with the front foot. How to avoid this?

It was great to see you get going with GT and I always loved their BMX bikes and the MTN bikes looked rad but never got to ride them. You do what's best for you & your family but what about switching to another company like Cannondale or other affiliated brand to the owners of GT?

Have you considered doing a bike trials on the different brands and find which one fits you that would be willing to work out a sponsorship? Seems to me like you’re an easy sell but I’m biased since I’m a fan! Either way I’m sure you’ll excel.

The first clue that made me feel uneasy was a video called is GT being replaced by Mongoose at Dick's sporting goods or something of that effect not sure what was the same video but someone had a similar idea that I have and that was perhaps the avalanche could receive a tapered headset what's a slack angle competitive for a 1x crank set the next one is probably a tall order but a cassette well anyway sad as it is ending perhaps I will not buy that other bike on sale and investigate the GT website for final inventory

Phil, your approach to your bike is simiar to what some guitar players do with regard to their floor pedals. Many people use Boss pedals. For some reason, everyone owns a Boss pedal or two early on when they start playing. Then they move away from Boss because they're not super expensive and they're everywhere. After a while, many of us have realized Boss has a number of great pedals and if one fails, they're easy to replace.
