Download NDVI Image using Landsat 8 for any location | Google Earth Engine

In this video tutorial, we will learn how to download Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) images for any location using Landsat 8 data and Google Earth Engine (GEE). we will use the GEE platform to access and process Landsat 8 images for a specific location of interest. We will demonstrate how to filter the images to the area of interest, and how to calculate the NDVI values using the appropriate bands.Finally, we will export the NDVI image in a suitable format for further analysis.

More Information About NDVI Analysis:
NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) is a commonly used index for quantifying vegetation cover and health. It is calculated from the Landsat 8 imagery by analyzing the near-infrared and red bands of the imagery. The formula for NDVI is (NIR-Red)/(NIR+Red), where NIR is the near-infrared band and Red is the red band.
The output of NDVI is a grayscale image with values ranging from -1 to +1, where negative values represent water or other non-vegetated areas, zero values represent barren land, and positive values represent healthy vegetation. The higher the positive value, the healthier the vegetation.
NDVI of Landsat 8 image is particularly useful for vegetation monitoring, drought assessment, crop yield prediction, and other environmental applications. The Landsat 8 satellite captures high-resolution imagery with a spatial resolution of 30 meters, making it an excellent source for studying vegetation patterns over large areas.
