Downpipe with full straight pipe! Turbo back exhaust system Golf mk6 1.6 Tdi

Today I've gotten a downpipe installed to my straight pipe exhaust system. Remapped to 145BHP from stock 105bhp.
Egr and dpf and mapped out.
I will upload a separate video of drive by.

Sounds good. My caddy sounds similar. My turbo has a high pitched whistle when quickly tap the accelerater.

Thanks man, all in with downpipe, remap, egr blanked and mapped and the quad tips was about 900.

When removing the DPF the car will need to be remapped. And any data relating to the DPF will be deleted like it never existed. It's a must to have it mapped

Custom made exhaust and downpipe bro, celtic kustoms and bs exhausts in Ireland. Diffuser was supplied by bs exhausts, its a Maxton Design fin lip

If there is ever any smoke (not white steam, that is because of low air temperature and a hot exhaust) coming out of a modernish/modern diesel (2000+) then it’s missing parts of the emissions systems.. DPF (on all diesels with Euro 5 and above, and most Euro 4 diesels. ), EGR Valve (ALL 1997+ diesels), NOx Catalytic Converter (ALL 1994+ diesels) SCR Catalytic Converter/AdBlue/urea injection (Most Euro 6 diesels and all Euro 6d-Temp and Euro 6d) I strongly discourage removing vital parts of a cars emissions system as on new cars (2017+) it can knacker the engine if you remove the DPF or EGR valve as the modern engine are designed around these emissions systems. (For example removing an organ from your body *may* not cause issues immediately, but it will eventually kill you), in the same way it will KILL the engine. Just don’t buy a diesel that’s known for failing DPFs. If you want to straight pipe one, just straight pipe a petrol.. they sound much better 😂

I've my bonnet sound damper removed and can hear slight whistle. I was told if I get a cold air intake it'll be much louder but I don't want to stick a cold air intake on

@@danielkelly1029 Neither do I have "daddy's bank card" (it wasn't even a funny joke). I know that the EA 288 had 140hp/170hp on the Mk6 Golf/Jetta, my point is, is that it would still be quicker than a remapped 1.6 TDI. Also, a used Mk6 1.6 TDI is no cheaper than a used 2.0 TDI.

@@danielkelly1029 remapped diesels use as much as petrols 😂 you’re full of shite.. my 320d runs on air.. 201hp, 475nm, 3.36L/100km and I don’t drive it hard but I don’t baby the throttle at all.. Completely stock (it is an M-Sport with adaptive suspension and every option that was available when I ordered it new) with AdBlue, the DPF.. the lot!! If I had bought a 318d and remapped to 180bhp (which is the most you can get from a stage 1 remap) and remove the DPF and the EGR valve, I’d be lucky if I managed 6L/100km.. I trust BMW to have the torque curve right.. not John Higgins down the road in his garage 😂 and from an environmental point of view (which by the looks of it you don’t give a continental fuck) a 320d is 10x better for the environment than a remapped 318d.. a remapped 318d without the DPF would be 30 times worse than a stock 320d.
