Ever since I was a child, much like Mary herself, this book had sat on my shelf, started, put down, attempted again, left unread. But somewhere in my heart I had always known that I should read this book. I used to be a sour child like her, and only ever kept to myself, and my books, but this one always haunted me as I always hated Mary and her situation so much at the beginning that I couldn’t bring myself to read it. When I saw this on your channel I decided that I must listen to it, casually at first, but then as my insomnia worsened I was enchanted by the story that was beginning to unfold. I re-listened to the parts where I had fallen asleep, and appreciated your attention to detail in your narration. It’s helping to heal the sour little child inside of me as I listen to Mary’s story of growth. Thank you Morph, for this, I hope you are able to continue uploading parts shortly, or I may have to sift through my old books and make time to read it myself. =)
