I am 78. I read the Hobbit in 1958. I have read the whole series a time or two. I own the videos and have seen it all at the movies. Tonite, I found part 2 and Your telling of the story awoke the lovely thought of traveling down the road with Frodo and friends. Why not let you read it to eager ears whilst I can savor your wonderful voice. Thank you.

Read both the “ Hobbit and the Trilogy “ ten times when I was sixteen,took a year and I was reading many other books as well. Then read to my children as well. Just the best reading besides the “ Bible” ever. Is so lyrical and epic. Brilliant man, Tolkien many characters in him , the maps alone! , the runes, the plot, Setting and the fight for the good,the beautiful and the truth. Rings true.

Your voice is so lovely to listen to. Your write up says that you do ASMR but I like what you do better because there aren’t those annoying mouth noises; although I know some people like that sound. I think you are one of the best narrators I’ve ever heard. Oh and you commented on perhaps “boring” us to sleep…You evoke many feelings, none of them boring❤

These are the best readings of this book I’ve heard. The calmness really brings out the suspense, and you are an amazing help when i struggle to fall asleep. This is a lovely way of experiencing my favorite book series
