As an European fascinated by the US since childhood I'm always amazed by the fantastic road infrastructure found even in the most unexpected places, not only in/around cities. Maybe one day I will be able to visit this country. Thanks for your videos, I've watched them all. Regards from Romania, Europe.

Hi Chris, let me try to answer your questions: 1: In my opinion, "real time" driving videos are boring. Videos shot in "real time" appear slower on video and most people do not have the attention span to enjoy them. 2: Simply a protective measure. If YT has stopped enforcing copyright then that's a good thing! 3: To be honest, I didn't know there was a demand for videos that long. Perhaps one day I will do something longer. Thank you for watching! -Brian

I said that "real time" videos APPEAR slower when presented in video format (just my opinion). Driving is in no way boring to me and I really don't care to argue with you about it. If you enjoy my videos, great and thank you for watching. If you do not, feel free not to watch them.

3 Qs please: 1) What's the attraction/need for TIME-LAPSE driving videos when in real life nobody lives and drives in FF mode? 2) Why are you so afraid of copyrighted music (as per your own 'About' profile) when YT has stopped enforcing the copyright rule maybe 2 years ago? I have ~600 videos and 95% of them have at least one copyright claim per video. 3) Why you don't U/L longer videos, 20, 30, 40 min long? /watch?v=BRC815MoKco Thank you very much and drive safely. Chris

They building a shut ton of 20-30 story buildings. Ill take it but, I'd much prefer an 80 story building to 5 20 story buildings.
They want to keep buildings low because of Love Field, but thats not gonna last. Dallas is getting too crowded and needs to build up and down (rumors of a subway being planned) and adding taller buildings. Current downtown wont change much, but there is a lot of cheap land just south of I30 that they will eventually turn into massive skyscrapers. It makes sense too, because its on the opposite side of downtown from Love Field. So its the next logical place for them to build. Thats what I have heard anyways.
@JasnoGT7 жыл бұрын
Sir when reading your post its like I wrote it. Great minds think alike. haha. Yes, we have 4 bldgs currently U/C or just topping out at 30 stories or more. We have 2x 40 stories (40 & 46) that just got approved for downtown. Yes they are building UP because we are getting dense. Expect more low to midrises all over the city (already happening) and eventually 25-30+stories towers in random places. It will spill over into the southside eventually. West Dallas first its looks like. I heard about the subway idea. Bring it! And let's see if Perot can bring us a new skyscraper. He looks to be trying his best.
@willdog37 жыл бұрын
Yeah, and Love Field can fly in and out from the north, so in my opinion they should be able to build as high as they want south of the airport anyways. Love field just likes having a runway facing south.
@cochrab11 жыл бұрын
I prefer the south, but it depends on what you like. I'll tell you with absolute certainty that NOTHING can compare with the west (confining my comments to the Continental United States).

it just happened to bring more investment to west dallas
@assaultislove9 жыл бұрын
They could've built a regular ass bridge to do that! There were mostly apartments and strip malls from what I saw, so it didn't seem as if there was much "investment". However, Uptown was a shitty slum 30 years ago and its much nicer now, so here's to hoping.
@IsaacOrtizEsteban9 жыл бұрын
assaultislove lol of course its not like that YET. I keep up with development projects in dallas and there is a lot of money going to be poured in soon. A lot of the old strip malls are already bought with future plans to redevelop them into higher density mixed use. There is the sylvan thirty development finishing up and the trinity groves project going strong. the bridge was just finished in 2012 it will take more time to see big changes dude. uptown wasn't noticeably different in 3 years it took decades.
@IsaacOrtizEsteban9 жыл бұрын
assaultislove and yes they could have built a normal bridge but think long term whenever that other side becomes a much better area (which it will because developers are looking into new areas since uptown is almost already filled up) then the bridge won't look "stupid". btw i know its hard to tell Through here but i am in no way trying to fight or getting defensive lol i am just an urban enthusiast and hopeful that one day dallas will have a strong urban core which in my opinion it is going towards that direction

Per #1, but time lapse driving videos reflect a world that DOES NOT EXIST, right? Also if you think driving your car, always in real time, right?, is boring, why driving at all, right? It sounds rather like you're forced to drive, against your own will, and b/c you have no choice but to drive at least change the way real life looks like, right? Yes I know, time lapse driving videos: way more attractive for very young viewers who are not allowed to drive but love cyberspace speeding, right?
