The building at 1070 Washington used to be the Kansas City area United Way, as well as the 1080 Washington building next door (which is now a school, as you point out). Cool buildings with lots of history!

I live in suburban Merriam on the Kansas side. Lived in the area most of my life, and I am enjoying your posts and "tours" of neighborhoods around Kansas City!
