Yes, this is Miami - the sidewalk feels like a ghost town. Other videos on KZbin might be taken during peak tourist season, but this video gives a good representation of how empty this place is without the tourists. Compare this to the Walking Tours of places like Sydney, and Miami doesn't feel like a city at all. Miami International Airport barely has any stores in it; NZ's smaller city of Christchurch is more commercialized and walkable. The only part of the city that feels remotely like even the quieter parts of Manhattan is the 1-block radius surrounding Whole Foods in Brickell. It's too bad that the city with, in my opinion, the best beaches and best weather in the US is so devoid of young professionals.

You make some really interesting points! It’s fascinating to see how different cities have their own unique vibes, especially during the off-season. Miami truly has its charm, but it’s definitely different when the tourists aren’t around.

@@SevenAllTheMarbles I know what you mean. I told my friend it would take about a year to see the same amount of women in Miami as one would see I London in one day. I think the public transport vs.car culture has something to do with it. As well as hype in London and New York etc where tourists hear about places and go there to to say been there. Creating massive foot traffic
