San Marcos in 2010: We need to keep the oldest buildings alive as much as possible San Marcos in 2020: Bulldoze everything and build as many 4-5 bedroom apartment buildings as possible so no one can afford to permanently live here.

The Newton Gang (ca. 1919 through 1924) was an outlaw gang of the early 20th century, and the most successful train robbers and bank robbers in history. They robbed this particular bank. Check out the 1998 film based on them called, "The Newton Boys."
