Hello everyone, I'd like to take a moment to congratulate the Blues on their hard-fought, well-earned victory this season, and a respectful nod to the formidable Bruins. This video is dedicated to the classy sports fans of St. Louis who've hung in there for this moment all these years! What'll ya'll gonna have goin' on next season? Go Blues! I'd also like to make the following excuse for not saying this in a title card in the video itself: I was in too much of an excited hurry to post it asap and didn't think of it until after it got far more attention than I dared hope. You know what's even better than this is no extra police had to be called in no one was arrested. No riots started. Just true st. Louis fans enjoying and savoring the first Stanley Cup win. Such a great moment, the best moment of my life as a sports fan. I was at Enterprise Center that night and it was more the same classy celebration. I was out in front for a good hour and a half. Nothing can top the first ever championship for a team that been around for so long. 52 years in the making and it feels so good. So glad I was able to with all these fans when it happened and the Parade we had Sat. Such a amazing time, that I will never forget.

My mom, dad, and I were at Enterprise Center Watch-party. At the time I was 13 but now I’m 15 as a freshman in high-school ( almost in 10th) but I dropped to the floor crying. Enterprise center workers were standing with us in the handicapped section since my dad has no legs due to an illness. “ I don’t let the little things in life slow me down ” So, Yeah. They can NEVER take away the Stanley cup from us, that memory and our name sketched on it will forever be ours! 💙 *LGB* 💛 When they scored with 7.9 seconds in the period the whole enterprise center went insane!

Reminds me so much of 10/27/2006, the night the Cardinals won the WS. I was at Mississippi Nights and left a concert early just as I found out that we won. People hugging, honking, yelling, etc. The clubs at the Landing that night were getting packed after the game. There's more I can say but the night the Blues won SC was probably the most recent time the city had high morale

(Lauren, I happened to be reading your particular comment when I decided here was where I wanted to write the following rant, so nothing personal, I agree, this isn't directed at you or anybody else) We must fight this perception based on skewed statistics. Yes, the city has high crime numbers against its relatively small population, but the county of St. Louis where 80% live, the picture is far far better. One needs a special kind of grit to live in the city, but those that can hack it often come with a special kind of weird coolness I've yet to see anywhere else. Truthfully, I think most of the awful crimes are people who know each other and tend to argue with violence, so don't screw over anybody or stray too far away from the lights and action and you'll be fine. :)
