Thanks for your tips, Garry! I have about ten hours in but took a break for a couple of months before I had an opportunity to solo. Prior to my hiatus, I got to experience a runway change for wind shift while in the pattern. I think every student pilot should go through this at least once during their training. I learned a lot just in that hour of instruction. I'm looking forward to getting back into flying.

David Dyck Good question. I caught the very early stage of the wind shift, and tower was a little behind real-time changes. After I got back to the hangar, they issued a new ATIS and did switch to 9-L/R...

Another good video. Never land a tailwheel airplane downwind! One of many bad habits nosewheel pilots tolerate that we really just can't.
