That looks like a good landing teaching technique! I honestly can't remember how my instructor taught me, but I do remember pulling back too much and using a bit of rudder on one attempt, had to change my pants on that one, kept my instructor on his toes though. Thanks for maintaining this great content even after you've achieved your goal of Captain!

good timing as I have my CFI checkride coming up...great instructing and making it fun as usual if anything my CFI mentor told me to talk less...your style is a lot like I been doing with friends...better than the gruff CFI I started with

More videos woohoo. Keep it up. I have to watch you fly when I can't get in my own plane there at Kissimmee and go fly. Having kids is epic but having to stay home every day and watch the baby keeps you from flying tons. Glad to see ya up and about! Always wave at any Silver plane that flies over my house in East Lake Toho!

I’m wondering if you can do a video about your philosophy towards initial instruction for anyone considering getting their instructor rating. As someone said above, the world could use more instructors like you and I’m sure if you did a video about your approach to teaching, it would be great. Would be more technical than most of your videos but would be something to consider

I think he's hooked. At least, I hope he is, because he was a natural in everything he tried in both videos. His intuition and feel for the aircraft serve him well. Not to discount the role you played, of course!

If I live a life full of charity and peace toward my fellow living beings, kindness toward strangers as if they're my own family, and doing my absolute best to treat others as I wish to be treated, will the deity you worship condemn me to eternal punishment just because I don't believe in it? If the answer is no, I don't need to waste my time worshipping it. If the answer is yes, it's not worthy of my worship.

Poor reggie, “I’d love to do more but then I’d be broke.” It is very expensive, but more doable than I thought for years. If you have a decent full time job, and the ability to supplement that income with overtime or a part time job it is very feasible if you make smart financial decisions and work hard. I’m debt free except for my house and car, and living within my regular paycheck, so with an average of 6-8 hours of overtime a week I can afford to fly one lesson a week and get my PPL. I was over the moon when I did the math and realized my dream was actually way more achievable than I imagined for years and years, and now I’m on my way. My instructor says I’m making fantastic progress, I give some credit to all those Lewdix videos in the Cherokee Warrior. :)

Did I hear you say ... Power controls altitude. Pitch controls airspeed. Why does this sound like the reverse would be true? Im confused. ( and I know this is not an educational video but still curious ).
