I really like my 105l dragonfly and i weigh 75 kilograms, i use it in all wind conditions light to strong i just change out my foil for the conditions and use smaller wings, haven't been able to do paddle up or downwind, more practice. Thanks for the shout out to Dave Kalama!!

Glad you like it. How wide is your 105L?
@ajm2193 Жыл бұрын
@@StandUpMagazin it's 19.5" wide

@@ajm2193 no too narrow?
@ajm2193 Жыл бұрын
@@StandUpMagazin no I don't think it's too narrow I feel you get stability from the length of the board and the foil, I can stand on it in flat water without the wing or paddle. If I really try to get into downwind with a paddle I will need a larger board for learning.

Hi guyes. Great interview. Thx. Could you please give me some advise on the size for light wind winging? Im 80kg. Greetings from Switzerland Patrick
@StandUpMagazin Жыл бұрын
Hi Patrick thanks for watching. If you are a good winger already I would go with something in the 100L range that will have plenty buoyancy. Maybe 20” wide. Have fun! 🤙🏽

@@StandUpMagazinits me agaun. Is the 95l dragonfly too small for switzerland?
@StandUpMagazin Жыл бұрын
@@patrickfrank4356 no I think 95L should be fine for Switzerland.

What size board would I need? I’m 84 kg?
@StandUpMagazin Жыл бұрын
I would go 20L plus weight. But also depending how experienced you are
