emo, not emocore. Technically, emocore is the original more hardcore version of emo. Emo has the same characteristics except they're just a lot more mellow. In technical terms, it's indie post-emocore since: Sunny Day Real Estate basically started "emo" without the core by mixing it with indie, so indie post-emocore. But nobody wants to use that cause it doesn't roll off the tongue well so just emo (if you want emocore, check out Title Fight, RItes of Spring, Moss Icon and Policy of Three)
