I was prescribed this medication, 1 mg pill form daily, can it increase my blood pressure? Also can I get an irregular heartbeat, those are two symptoms that, initially the Flomax left me, I was taking Flomax for six weeks, and he gave me an allergic reaction tightness of the chest labored breathing hoarseness of the throat stuffy nose, irregular heartbeat, then they put me on this medication and the only symptom that I’m getting is irregular heartbeat still and blood pressure being high.

Hi Moises. Experiencing higher blood pressure with this medication is very unusual because it causes vasodilation (relaxes your blood vessels). Irregular heartbeat is a known adverse effect of this medication. You may want to discuss this with your Doctor if it continues.
