DBII sounding AND looking awesome as usual! ❤️🔥I’ve been SO into him since I first heard Arc Angels.

He’s so lucky to have had such a high level platform for which to showcase this record. It so benefits the quality of work he achieved when recording these songs. Thanks to RW for recognizing his immense talent.

He became one of my idols when I heard him in Arch Angeles. I have played lefty strung backwards since I learned to play. Albert King was the first I found, then Doyle. Until then I never thought I could be taken seriously. After 7 year of that my life changed. I can play things my friends can't, and bend for days! Thanks to all of you who helped change my life 27 years ago. Let's not also forget Coco Montoya, Dick Dale, and the recently departed Mr. Paul Raymond of UFO. Met him once in the men's room. Really nice guy. I know I'm missing some, but thanks to all

Jimi could play upside strung...but preferred strung lefty. It's mind blowing, but when you learn it that way...my brother in law plays righty but is a lefty

What's with these negative comments... so what if they did an overdub or if he might be high... he's admitted to going thru a ton of troubles included drug addiction on an interview... he's still an soulful amazing great musician... In a current world of all these horrible pop star and their IMO talentless so-called musical hits this type of music and this kind of artist in so needed to prove we still have artists that can put of this type of music for us to enjoy... I think he's just a badass in his own right... people trying to compare him to SRV... he's not trying be that... all though his family and the Vaughan family were very tight from what Doyle stated in a recent interview...
@Roadking265 жыл бұрын
In an interview I read that years ago when he was 15 when the Fabulous Thunderbirds were big they were getting ready to tour, and needed a guitarist. They ask SRV who he thought the best local guitarist was, and he said hands down Doyle. He toured with them when he was 15. A bunch of them all lived in a big house. Doyle's family, SRV, some other I can't think of. He literally grew up with SRV.

I think it was probably a missed chord during a show that they knew would be released, and fixed it with a quick overdub in editing.

A lot of times they sync video just by taking snips of video and it doesn’t match. But unless you play guitar most people don’t see it. Sad but true. Pretty obvious it’s not tracked.

Srv=great, this guy is good, but let’s keep things in perspective, it was kind of cheesy that they dubbed something in to make this video acceptable for fans, if they did, that on its face would be a weak move, if so, they should have left it alone imo
@anthonycrystal333 жыл бұрын
His guitar playing is mediocre, his singing is mediocre, his song writing sucks, so how did he gain this level of success? Many great musicians who never get this far, Doyle never paid his dues!
@curtisgunnarson17683 жыл бұрын
He has paid his dues, he grew up around Stevie Ray Vaughan who co-wrote songs with his father Doyle Bramhall senior. He was asked to play in the bands of Roger Waters(Pink Floyd) and Eric Clapton. He was on 4 Eric Clapton albums. Eric said he’s not like anyone else and loves him but ...... who are they? Who are you?
